Jab334: Hello, welcome to the JmcD Art Blog. For those who may not be familiar with me on Social Media, I am an Artist, Designer and Author. I graduated from the National College of Art and Design Dublin Ireland with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Communication and a Graphic Designer by trade but have always retained a love and passion for Art and so make a part time living from it. My Preferred mediums are Oils for Landscape and Still life as well as Charcoal and Pencil for sketching and figure studies. I've have recently taken the creative challenge in exploring watercolours and furthering my endevours in Portraiture. For those super curious on what inspires me artistically my favourite styles and periods which inspire are the European old masters, Academic and English schools as well as some impressionism and handful of modern masters of realism and figurative styles.
I have a variety of original as well as reproductions of my work available for sale which can be viewed at my website JmcDArt.com as well you can follow me on Social Media at https://www.facebook.com/jmcdart/ and on Twitter at https://twitter.com/ArtJmcd
